Dr. Gena Miller is a native of Shongaloo, a village in northern Louisiana outside of Springfield. She earned a B.A. in Special Education and taught for a year before attending the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. After earning her M.D. in 2010, she completed her Residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky in 2014. Dr. Miller earned a Fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Kentucky, completing it in the summer of 2016.
Dr. Miller is licensed in the state of Louisiana and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She is also certified in Clinical Densitometry and is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys traveling, especially to the beach, with her husband and their son.
