Metairie, Louisiana native Dr. Michael Stumpf first earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from LSU in 1999 before changing careers to enter the field of medicine. He earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2008 and performed his residency in Internal Medicine from LSU’s Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, where he continued as an instructor of Internal Medicine residents as part of the LSU Health Baton Rouge faculty at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He became a member of The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2013.
Dr. Stumpf is board certified in Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Married with three children, Dr. Stumpf is a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Baton Rouge and makes our city his home.
