Metairie native Dr. Scott Jackson attended Tulane University, earning his B.S. in 1998, and continued his education by earning his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2003. Dr. Jackson completed an Internal Medicine internship at LSU’s Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge and then performed his residency in Dermatology through the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, completing his program in 2007 before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic the same year.
Licensed to practice in Louisiana, Dr. Jackson is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the National Psoriasis Foundation, the International Dermoscopy Society, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Additionally, he serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and is the Chief of Dermatology at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Currently residing in Baton Rouge, Dr. Jackson enjoys numerous hobbies including watching movies, writing, reading, and watching LSU baseball. He has authored one book, Differential Diagnosis for the Dermatologist and one App, Dermatology Board Review Q & A.
